It’s finally here for iOS, an app that simulates a boxing coach and calls out realistic, fast paced combinations.
The boxing coach simulator calls out boxing techniques for you to execute, there are 4 modes and 3 intensity levels. This includes a Southpaw Mode, Counter Punching Mode, Virtual Padwork and Combo Creator Mode.
Choose as many rounds as you like, adjust the round length, the rest between rounds, and set a warning bell to tell you how many seconds are left in the round. Press ‘Start’ and get to work!
Pros and cons of Precision Boxing Coach Pro app for iPhone and iPad
Precision Boxing Coach Pro app good for
Its like having a trainer with you when youre not at the gym. Use it supplementary to your regular boxing routine. Have it on while shadowboxing at home or while doing roadwork. Interested in an update that incorporates footwork in the workouts, and perhaps a routine(s) related to slip line training? Otherwise, 10/10.
I purchased this app a while back and posted a rather negative review given the fact that there was no sound. Ive since discovered that this was simply due to my own stupidity and inability to work my iPad.
I tried the app out tonight at the end of my workout and I have to say, I think its really going to be a valuable addition to my program. Well worth the money.
I bought this app and use it for my professional coaching job its a valid help and very good ideas.

Some bad moments
$5 is not worth it for an app that cannot play while the phone is locked. The app stops unexpectedly when in my pocket, speeds up unexpectedly during whole workouts, overall very glitchy... Will rate this a 5 when the bugs get fixed, but for now, constantly reconfiguring my phone is a pain when I have gloves on
Great app, but there is are some errors in southpaw mode. First, the chart in southpaw mode is actually the chart for orthodox. Also, the 3 in southpaw mode says its a left hook while it should actually be a right hook. This caused a bit of confusion for me in the beginning, but once I memorized what all the punches should be I was fine.
Overall this is a great app thats extremely useful..especially for people who dont have access to a boxing coach to work on combinations with.
There is no sound, no videos and the southpaw mode is the same as the Orthodox Mode!
This is a great no-frills tool for anyone looking to improve their striking... it calls combos that make sense and allows you to adjust the pace & duration so you can warm up and work on flow, stretch it out and work your cardio, or destroy yourself with blistering flurries. Ive been using it for a couple weeks and I feel like my shadow boxing & bag work have jumped up a level, this app has added way more quality to my solo workouts... having said that, its still early in the development stages and feels a bit rough around the edges, but well worth 5 bucks.
Worth the money by far
This is what boxing is about hammering out fundamentals and doing the little things in a great way.
Great app with actual useful combinations great variety
But is there reason there isnt a hook to the body? A 3B
The app should continue to run without having to have the screen burning the entire time; please fix. Other than that, fun app that can make for a great workout.
